But with a cold class of milk, could do the job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>75g margarine plus for greasing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tbsp ground flaxseed (not sure why this is needed&#8230;) + 6 tbsp water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>120g dark chocolate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>60g water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp coffee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>125g self-raising flour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>70g almond flour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>50g cocoa powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/4 tsp salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2 tsp baking powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>250g golden caster sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp vanilla extract<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>70g frozen cherries (at room temperature)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Process:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pre-heat oven at 170C. Grease a 20cm square tin or crystal dish.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mix flaxseed with 6 tbsp of water and set aside<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In a sauce pan, melt the chocolate, coffee, margarine and water at low heat. Allow to cool down a bit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Put flours, cocoa, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Mix.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the sugar to the chocolate mix. Use a hand mixer until everything is combined.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the flaxseeds, vanilla and cherries to the chocolate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then add the flour  mix to the chocolate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It will very thick and difficult to manage with a whisk so use a wooden spoon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pour the mix into the tin.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bake for 30 minutes or so until a skewer inserted in the middle comes nearly clean.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Allow to cool down completely.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I had then for 35 minutes I think and the texture was too dry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.thomarite.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/image-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1358\" width=\"516\" height=\"273\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.thomarite.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/image-1.png 796w, https:\/\/blog.thomarite.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/image-1-300x159.png 300w, https:\/\/blog.thomarite.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/image-1-768x408.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 516px) 85vw, 516px\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To be honest, this recipe wasn&#8217;t really good as a brownie.
